Welcome to Mafikeng and that Voodoo we do.

 

We are part of a youth organisation - Scouting Ireland. Our Scout troop is based in Howth, Dublin where we meet once a week for 2 hours. With in this 2 hour slot our leader team passes on its skills to the youth of today, we teach our scouts how to camp, build camp sites and all other necessary skills around this. We encourage team work and Leader ship skills in all aspects of our programs.

Aside from this Meeting once a week, we run activities on some weekends. Such examples are, Weekend camps, hiking in the mountains of Wicklow and beyond, Week long camps. Overnights in and around our hall etc. We are also currently training in some of our leader team to be qualified rock climbers so that over this summer we can spend the sunny afternoon rock climbing somewhere in Wicklow.
